TEXTBOOK WORK - Grammar
- Record the chapter vocabulary from the textbook, into a notebook of your choice. Then, go to the site www.Quizlet.com using this link: http://quizlet.com/join/zH49rgdp6. It will show you the vocabulary for the chapter vocabulary you are working on. The site has many features. (Printable pages, flip card definitions, as well as audio capabilities and testing. Grab a headset and get started. ** Once you feel comfortable with the vocabulary for that chapter, try a test. Submit your results from that chapter test to me via email or a printout of the test through your school submissions box. You can try the test as many times as you wish.
- Review the textbook pages for the chapter. Start at the beginning of the chapter by reviewing new words and concepts in context. You can do the listening activities using the publisher site if you wish. It is not necessary, but it will give you opportunity to hear native French speakers, especially if you are taking French for the first time. http://www.glencoe.com/sec/mediacenter/world_lang.php#
- Try a few of the "numbered" activities (ie. 1-27) in the text to check your understanding, as you review the chapter. You do not need to submit any answers for these!!
- Record any “Structure“ sections you encounter into a notebook of your choice. You may use this notebook to complete tests.
- Do the accompanying workbook pages for the chapter. After you have completed it to the best of your ability, self mark your work using the answer keys provided, and have the proof of completion sheet signed.
